Asian Adventure Days are booked Monday - Thursday. They begin promptly at 9:30am, when the temperature is cooler, and generally end around 1:00 or 2:00pm. The tour is entirely walking and also outdoors so please have the children dress accordingly. Comfortable shoes and cool clothing. The children's lunch time is generally from 11:00am - 12:00pm, with the activity following. If you are needing to leave early we will adjust to the time allowed. The gift shop can be opened for those children who have brought money to purchase items. We only allow 10 children at a time into the gift shop. Full payment is needed prior to your Asian Adventure Day. The price is $13 per child, and there is a minimum requirement of 1 chaperone per 10 children, depending on the age group, and the chaperones are admitted free. Any chaperones over the minimum amount will be charged at $5 per person. WE DO NOT provide lunches. This is very important so that you may either arrange to provide a lunch for the children and chaperones or have them bring their own a sack lunch. You may store the lunches in the theater room so that they stay cool. Some groups in the past have ordered Chinese food or pizza to be delivered for the groups and we can recommend some places. Please keep in mind that the weather warning does also apply. Should there be heavy weather forecasted at the beginning of the day we will call the day before and may need to cancel. We do give you the option to reschedule if you so choose to, if not we are able to return your deposit. Also if heavy rain is forecasted for the afternoon we generally ask that you leave right after the tour or your lunch and we do give you the chosen activity to take with you so that the children may paint them at school or home.
