Forbidden Gardens is open to the General Public Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 10:00AM with ticket sales ending at 2:00PM, and the gates closing at 3:00PM. Please keep in mind that our hours are seasonal. The gates close at 3:00PM and no admittance will be allowed after wards. Monday - Thursday are only available for private pre-arranged tours, and we will NOT open for the general public. For more information on private tours click here. You may view our calendar below to see if Forbidden Gardens will be closing on a public tour day, Friday - Sunday.

We advise that you arrive early to allow ample time to view the entire museum, watch our 20 minute video, and visit the gift shop if you choose to. It generally take about 1 - 2 hours to walk around the museum and view just the exhibits. We generally inform people to allow about a 2 - 3 hour block of time to spend at the museum.

Forbidden Gardens will be open till 5:00 PM beginning March 13, 2010 for the season. Our normal operating hours for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be from 10:00 AM till 5:00PM. The gates will open at 10:00 AM, ticket sales will end at 4:00 PM, and the entire museum will close at 5:00 PM. Beginning with the closing of exhibits, to allow people ample time to exit the museum grounds, then finally the front gate. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER 4:15 PM.

Please note that sudden closings due to weather may not be updated on the web site, calendar, or our voice message. We are an outdoor facility so we advise that you dress according to the days weather. There are places to sit throughout the park and some shading. We WILL close early if there is inclement weather coming our direction. If there is heavy rain scheduled for the day Forbidden Gardens will not open at all that day for safety reasons.
